We have immediate openings for entry level production workers on Night Shift at Vitro Automotive (formerly PGW) in Tipton, PA.
This position works as a member of the Production Department and is responsible for inspecting and packing glass per our customers specifications.
As an entry level production worker, you will have multiple opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
What You Will Do Inspect glass for defects Pack glass according to specifications for shipment.
Ensure quality production to meet customers specifications.
Complete required quality/production paperwork.
Maintain line cleanliness,sweeping and shoveling glass, proper storage of tools, and emptying trash.
Report unsafe equipment and/or conditions.
Maintain operations at the highest standards set forth by Vitro's customers, production, and quality departments.
What We Offer $17.
75 per hour, plus an additional $0.
50 shift differential (nights) Every other weekend off.
12-hour shifts.

Qualifications:
Education /
Experience:
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred, but not required Entry level position with the expectations to advance, and move into other positions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, SAFETY and WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Performs duties within normal industrial environmental conditions,may encounter extreme heat or cold working conditions.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to push/pull, grip to use hand tools, reach, see, hear and speak.
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Associate must follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building.
Must follow all PPE requirements.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
