AS THE DIRECTOR OF THE MEDICAL SURGICAL UNIT, you are responsible for coordinating the administrative and clinical activities for the Medical Surgical Units. The Director is responsible for the management of all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment. The Director promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments to maintain a collaborative work environment. The Director holds 24-hour responsibility and accountability for all patient care activities, unit operations, and staff functions. The Director reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and Service Line Director. WHAT WE OFFER:

MSN or Master's degree in related field or in Management, preferred. Emergency Nurse Certification required within three years of hire. (3) years' experience in the field during which leadership and management skills have been demonstrated, preferred. Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification within 6 months and completion of Arrhythmia Course and ACLS certification within 12 months of start date in position/department; progressive and successful work history Previous clinic experience preferred in emergency and medical surgical nursing. Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
